A Brooklyn teacher was arrested Friday after bragging about a Columbine-style plan to bring in a shotgun and “settle some scores,” sources said.

Art teacher Sabrina Milo, 34, was cuffed and hauled out of Fort Hamilton High School about 11:15 a.m. after fearful colleagues blabbed to school safety agents.

She was taken to the 68th Precinct stationhouse, where she got a lawyer and clammed up, police sources said.

Hours later, she was charged with making terroristic threats, a felony that carries up to five years in prison.

“This woman talked about pulling a Columbine and we take these threats very seriously,” a police source said, referring to the 1999 Colorado school massacre that left 13 dead.

“She made terroristic threats.”

Milo made the threats earlier in the week, telling at least two other teachers she intended to come to school armed and “settle some scores” and “do what needs doing,” a source said.

It was unknown if Milo owned any weapons, but police were seeking warrants to search her Staten Island home and her computer, sources said.

Teachers told cops Milo had a short fuse, a law enforcement source said.

“She would get angry and run off at the mouth. Whether that would translate into real action – no one was willing to take the chance,” the source said.

“Her husband was ex-military, so there was a concern that she had access to weapons.”

Police sources said it was not the first time Milo had been in trouble at the Bay Ridge school.

In May, she was yanked out of the classroom amid allegations she flipped out in the classroom and hit a student.

“She hit a kid with a ruler on her fingertips,” one Fort Hamilton teacher said. “She was taken out of school for a while.”

A Department of Education spokeswoman confirmed Milo was removed from the school and returned in September. She declined to discuss the details of the investigation.

Several students – who said Milo was quirky but well-liked – said the incident was blown out of proportion.

“Last year we made a sign that said ‘Free Milo’ after she hit a kid’s phone with a ruler,” said sophomore America Casallas, 15.

“The girl was over-exaggerating … the girl hated her and made a big deal out of it.”

Milo offered to pay for the girl to get a manicure when she saw the ruler broke the teen’s nail, Casallas said.

Milo – who makes $75,796 a year – has been at the school since she was hired in 2001, the DOE spokeswoman said.

She’s married to another teacher at the school, JROTC instructor Lee Anderson, and they live in a home in Tompkinsville with one of his three kids from an earlier marriage.

Neighbors said she kept to herself, but was always nice. Anderson, 64, is often seen around the neighborhood in military fatigues.

“I’m kind of shocked to be honest,” said a neighbor, who declined to give his name. “They’re very nice, quiet people. We just say good morning, good evening.”

One of Milo’s students said she was taking the threats as seriously as an April Fool’s prank.

“It can’t be true,” said Aly Bianco, 15. “If she did say it, she didn’t mean it. She jokes a lot.”

“She’s a great teacher,” the sophomore said. “But people are mean to her for no reason. She puts up with a lot.”

“She’s the best,” Casallas agreed.

“We do art explosions where we throw paint at canvasses. She’s so creative and really helps kids with their problems.”

Tony Simmons, who copped to three sexual crimes against teens between 2005 and 2008, rejected an offer of three years in prison and decided to take his chances at trial.

Tony Simmons, who copped to three sexual crimes against teens between 2005 and 2008, rejected an offer of three years in prison and decided to take his chances at trial.

A youth counselor charged with molesting teen girls under his care should be grilled about a 2001 incident in which he had sex with a 13-year-old in a courthouse bathroom, prosecutors said Friday.

The sickening details of the encounter were revealed as a judge green-lighted the case of Tony Simmons for trial next week.

Simmons, 47, is charged with the rape of a 15-year-old girl and the sexual abuse of two others in courthouses – but prosecutors say his depravity didn’t stop there.

They claim the former Juvenile Justice Department employee preyed on a girl barely in her teens in the Manhattan Family Court building.

“He flirted with her and told her she was pretty and he liked her,” Assistant District Attorney Evan Krutoy said.

He took the child into a stall, “kissed her, took out a condom and had sexual intercourse with her,” the prosecutor said.

Krutoy said the Dec. 20, 2001, incident cannot be prosecuted because of the statute of limitations.

But he wants to be able to cross-examine Simmons about it if the accused serial sex sicko testifies at trial.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Carol Berkman did not immediately rule on whether he can.

Jury selection begins Tuesday in the case – which almost ended with a no-jail deal last fall.

His plea was revoked after public outrage at the sentence of 10 years probation that he was set to get.

Simmons, who copped to three sexual crimes against teens between 2005 and 2008, rejected an offer of three years in prison and decided to take his chances at trial.

Before it starts, Berkman has to rule on some more legal issues:

* Whether prosecutors can present evidence Simmons lied on a 1992 job application to Juvenile Justice by omitting that he’d been fired as a city corrections officer because he tested positive for cocaine.

* Whether Simmons’ defense lawyer will be allowed to reference the victims’ psychiatric notes and police reports when he cross examines them.

A biology teacher in Kentucky has resigned after cops found her giving a student some private lessons in anatomy.

Carrie Shafer, a teacher at DuPont Manual High School in Louisville, was found by police Friday night inside a car and sharing beer with a 17-year-old student.

The 38-year-old and the teen also were partially undressed, police said. Evidence of contraceptive use was visible near the vehicle.

“There were some articles found that appeared to have been from a sexual act — like some condoms and some wet wipes that were on the outside of the vehicle believed to have been thrown from that vehicle,” Louisville Metro Police spokesman Dwight Mitchell told WAVE 3 News in Louisville.

Shafer, who taught anatomy and physiology, was cited with a misdemeanor for unlawful transaction with a minor.

Sexual consent in Kentucky is 16, and at the time of the incident police were not aware she was a teacher.

Shafer, who resigned Sunday, could face a felony charge because of her role as an educator.

A new law in Kentucky makes it illegal for a person in “a position of authority or special trust” to engage in sexual activity with someone under 18, Louisville’s Courier-Journal reported.

The teacher was also ticketed for parking in a handicap space.

A popular Columbia professor was charged Thursday with incest – accused of a sick sex relationship with a female relative, prosecutors said.Political science Prof. David Epstein, 46, bedded the young woman over a three-year period ending last year, according to court papers.

He was arraigned before a Manhattan judge on a single felony incest count.

“We ask that everyone remember that he is innocent until proven otherwise and that these allegations are nothing more than allegations,” said Epstein’s defense lawyer Matthew Galluzzo.

University spokesman Robert Hornsby said that Epstein “is now on administrative leave and will not be teaching students.”

Epstein, who specializes in American politics and voting rights, has taught at Harvard and Stanford and often is quoted by news organizations. He also has blogged on The Huffington Post.

Sources said the victim was over 18 when the relationship began in 2006 and that the two often exchanged twisted text messages.

Epstein faces up to four years behind bars if convicted.

He was released on his own recognizance.

Former Columbia University manager says sex abuse led to swindle

He says he stole as a payback.

A former Columbia University manager says he bilked $180,000 from the Ivy League school to punish officials who brushed off complaints that a male boss was regularly groping him.

John Bzdil says the weekly sexual abuse set him on a bizarre spending spree that included thousands of dollars worth of pricey Bliss cosmetics and a $25,000 Poconos wedding for himself and his wife in 2007.

Bzdil, 35, is the former director of the Pediatric Neurosciences Department of the Neurological Institute at Columbia.

In April, he pleaded guilty to wire fraud charges and is scheduled to be sentenced June 25. He faces being locked up for as long as 27 months.

In a letter to Manhattan Federal Judge Sidney Stein, the ex-Eagle Scout and high school football star begs not to be sent away to prison.

“Columbia was turning a blind eye and a deaf ear to the fact that I was being sexually abused by [the boss],” he wrote. “Subconsciously, I was trying to make them pay attention to my situation and protect me from [him]. I felt deep shame for what he was doing to me and my inability to make him stop.”

Charges against Bzdil’s estranged wife, Heather Brooke Rinehart, were dropped by prosecutors after Bzdil claimed she had nothing to do with the purchase of Bliss items like Mammoth Minty Scrub and Lovehandler.

The storybook couple from Pennsylvania have since split, and Rinehart has filed for divorce. Bzdil says he’s an alcoholic, and his doctors say he’s contemplated suicide.

“On May 15, 2008, I had a beautiful wife, a director of medicine job, considering having children and just signed to own our first home,” Bzdil wrote.

“Now, a year later, I have no job, my much-loved wife is seeking a divorce and my home is being sold. I have lost everything resulting from my actions when employed by Columbia University.”
