THANKSGIVING: AMERICAN HOLY DAY – lessons not lost and as important today as ever

Thanksgiving Day is a uniquely American holiday to honor the Hand of God in the American story. The most Free, Liberate, and Wise Nation in the history of mankind, having been established through divine providence, we give thanks for what we have been bequeathed.

Virginians claim the ‘First Thanksgiving’ in Jamestown, 1619. The Virginia colonists established a day of Thanksgiving at Berkeley Plantation which was to become a ‘yearly and perpetually kept holy day’ as a day of thanksgiving to the Almighty for the blessings bestowed upon them. It is this spirit of thankfulness that both seeded our Tree of Liberty over a century later, as well as the continuing tradition of our American Thanksgiving Day 4 centuries later, and God willing, for eternity.

To this end we bring you the following, thanks to True American Patriots – Constitutional scholar David Barton and the group Wallbuilders.
