NYC pols back full financial disclosure – and then clam up

In a stunning show of hypocrisy, two-thirds of the New York City lawmakers who voted to disclose how much they earn moonlighting now refuse to make the numbers public.

To make matters worse, this is now a trend permeating throughout our State Legislature as well.

Speaking of hypocrisy and things related, you all now know about former Senator Bruno’s conviction which had to do large in part with his moonlighting. The major hypocrisy is that the current Assembly leader Silver takes part in this lack of disclosure, and why, well there are alot of allegations, to which he is probably just as guilty as Bruno, yet he is still freewheeling and getting a free pass so far.
